Vacancy on the Board in District 1

Due to the recent passing of resident and District 1 representative, Ron Smith, the Hamilton Lake Conservancy District has a vacancy on the Board in District 1. Eligible parties must be either:

  • a freeholder of District 1
  • an officer or nominee of a corporate freeholder of the district.

This appointment will be made to complete the current term which is now through December 31, 2020. The Board meets monthly the last Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at the Financial Clerk's office. In addition to monthly meetings, there are also second meetings in February and December along with any other special meetings if the need arises. In the map below, the area outlined in blue has the vacancy. Please contact 260-488-3304 or visit the Financial Office to express interest in the appointment.
